| This is Police Officer Suzanne Eviston and Police Dog "Axel" of the Everett police Department K9 Unit. Axel came to Wellsprings in 2007 following surgery for a broken leg suffered in a horrendous car crash while on duty. Suzanne and Axel were hit by the robbery/car thief they were chasing and were severly crushed in their police car, requiring fire and rescue to "cut" them out of their car. Axel received massage and swim therapy for several months and made a remarkable recovery!! He was released fit enough for active duty again. Suzanne suffered more serious injuries and will be returning to active duty in the near future. (Also found on the home page.) | This is Officer E. Dupleich and canine officer / swat dog Barcley of the Seattle Police Department. Barcley came to Wellsprings in 2002 for bilateral knee post-op recovery and again in 2007/8 to enhance his quality of life due to spinal issues. He is doing remarkably well. | Boscoe with his Handler Officer Sanabria of the Bellevue Police Department. Boscoe came for help after a "spine injury." He recovered fully and is back catching "Bad Guys"... |
